Perhaps you are building a new structure and would like to know whether the location you are choosing is best – or, simply, whether you should eliminate from consideration.
Grading would be one of the primary considerations as water will go from high to low, and you don want to be in the low part.
Here are some situations where NOT to build:
- In a flood plain
- In a flood area
- In the areas in the mountains (or not) where flash floods will happen
- Not in canyons
